o UPS and UPS Batteries
o Circuit Boards of any kind
o Many other types of electronic and communications equipment
o Medical Equipment
o Houston Computer Recycling does not accept:
o Home appliances
o Microwave ovens
o Car batteries
o Household Batteries
o Light Bulbs
o Televisions
o Air Conditioning and Refrigeration Equipment
o Personal Hygiene Electronics and Appliances
o VHS Tapes or Audio Tapes
o CRT monitors of any kind
Houston Computer Recycling DOES NOT ACCEPT the following materials: Radioactive materials, hazardous
materials (oils, paints, antifreeze etc.), corrosives (e.g. car batteries), compressed gas cylinders, flammable
materials, refrigerants, other hazardous materials (e.g. fluorescent lamps, pesticides, oil filters, lead, mercury
switches), PCBs (ballast, transformers, capacitors, etc.), explosives (e.g. ammunition, fire arms), non-electronic
scrap materials (e.g. tires, office waste, solid waste, furniture, asbestos).
Prohibited materials not identified and removed during pick-up and thereby sent to our facility will be returned
to the sender at the sender’s cost. Advance notification will be given to allow sender to arrange for return of
materials.
