Memorial
Assistance Ministries provides emergency financial assistance and other
services for families and individuals who find themselves in temporary
crisis and in need of assistance to maintain self-sufficiency and avoid
homelessness.
MAM's
member congregations include 29 area churches which help support the
organization through a variety of methods. Assistance is provided
solely on the basis of need, without regard to race, creed, color or

- Recycling fundraising event for Seven Lakes High
School raised over This event on April 12, 2008
raised over $1000.00 for the Swim and Dive
teams! Thanks to everyone
who helped make this fundraiser such a success.
- The Katy recycling fundraising event
This event on February, 9 2008 was
a huge success we helped raise $2195.00 for the Katy VFW! Thanks to all involved and we
look forward to helping raise money in the future for other worthy
causes in Katy.
- First Annual DROP AND SWAP! A Texas Recycles Day event 2008 We
recycled over ten tons of electronic waste for this event. Thanks to Sustainable Living for
organizing the Drop and Swap.
- Micro Center Recycling Event Feb. 2009
We helped keep several tons of electronic waste
out of our landfills.
- Recycling event at the
Berry Center on May 16, 2009 was a huge success. We recycled over fort thousand
pounds of e-waste.
