Micro Center Recycling Event Feb. 2009

We helped keep several tons of electronic waste out of our landfills.

E-Waste Recycling Drive 

• When? January 23, 10am – 2pm
• Where? Coles Crossing Lap Pool parking lot (Cypress Texas)
• What? Bring your old electronics* to be recycled
• How much? This is a FREE event but donations will be accepted

Items that we are accepting at this event:  Computers (Monitors, CPU´s, Servers, Keyboards, Laptops, networking, IT, Phones (office and cell), Any wire, Printers, fax machines, scanners, PDA´s, circuit boards of any kind, etc. and many unusual types of electronic and communications equipment.

Items that we are not accepting at this event:  Full-sized office copiers, home appliances, medical equipment, microwave ovens, televisions, car batteries. NO EXCEPTIONS.

UPDATE: We  recycled over ten tons of electronic waste for this event. Thanks to Sustainable Living for organizing the Drop and Swap.

Katy Drop and Swap was a Huge Success!

This event raised over $1000.00 for the Swim and Dive teams at Seven Lakes High School! Thanks to everyone who helped make this fundraiser such a success.

This event was a huge success!  Houston Computer Recycling helped raise $2195.00 for the Katy VFW!  Thanks to all involved and we look forward to helping raise money in the future for other worthy causes in Katy.
